Our Practice

I treat 3 categories of patients:

1) furry family members - companion animals - dogs and cats, ferrets and rabbits;

2) birds (avian) - exotics (snakes, other reptiles, and fish) - pocket pets (hamsters, rats, hedgehogs); and

3) small ruminants - llamas, sheep, goats, and deer.  I generally do not see horses and cattle.

I am an active member/participant in the TexasVets online discussion list with several hundred of my peers throughout the state.  I take Continuing Education courses in all three of my practice areas --- canine/feline, exotic/reptile, and small ruminant --- often earning more than 50 hours credit per year.  I have received state wide recognition from the Texas Veterinary Medical Association for my efforts to facilitate client understanding of changing vaccination protocols.

Just last year, the Texas Downtown Association recognized Bowie Pet Clinic as one of three statewide finalists in the Best Rehabilitation category at the 2007 President's Award Program, celebrating the best of Texas Downtowns.
